About Me:
"Everybody that you meet, has an original point of view" - Yes that quote is from the TV show 'Arthur', put the PBS show - the longest running children's show of all time - makes a great point and still contains the most adept explanation of autism I have yet found, click to YouTube button on the top right to view.

My world is a very strange one, I teach and study science, and using research driven skills I have been fortunate to engage with research to further my teaching, as well as further understand how neurotypical people live in this strange thing we call 'existence'.
Part of what makes autism fascinating, is that many autists have a specialised area of interest. For me I am fascinated by science and maths, but this has morphed over the years to include an intense fascination into what autism actually is from the insider's view - to me, I'm pretty normal!
Applying this specific knowledge, I believe, bridges the gaps between minds, and allows for a greater understanding of humanity as a whole - because in the end, we're just meat-driven meta-monkeys living on a rock orbiting a nuclear explosion, but more shockingly we call this state of affairs 'normal'.
